Black Bean Burger Patties

Ingredients
- ⅔ cup (60g) walnuts
- ⅔ cup (60g) rolled oats
- 1⅔ cups (270g) black beans (cooked)
- ½ cup (65g) onion
- 9 g garlic
- 1 tbsp (20g) soy sauce
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp cumin
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
- Soak walnuts in water for 8-12 hours.
- Drain water, rinse, dry, place in food processor.
- Add rolled oats, process until finely ground.
- Add beans, onion, garlic, soy sauce, spices, and salt.
- Blend until smooth, cover, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Form patties 120 g (½ cup) each.
- Fry in oil over medium heat for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the oven at 180°C (355°F) for 10 minutes or in air fryer at 170°C (340°F) for 8 minutes.
