Pear Pecan Oatmeal

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp (35g) dates (pitted)
- ¼ cup (30g) pecans
- ¾ cup (80g) rolled oats
- 2 cups (480ml) water
- ½ cup (160g) pear purée
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp cardamom
Instructions
- Finely chop dates and pecans.
- Mix oats, water, purée, zest, spices, and dates in a pot.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, stir.
- Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat, add pecans, stir.
- Cover and let sit for 5 minutes.
