Pumpkin Millet Porridge

Pumpkin Millet Porridge

Ingredients

  • cup (70g) millet
  • 3 tbsp (50g) dates (pitted)
  • 1⅔ cups (400ml) water
  • cup (150g) pumpkin purée
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (ground)

Instructions

  1. Soak millet in water for 6-8 hours.
  2. Rinse millet. Chop dates finely.
  3. In a pot, bring water to a boil. Add millet and cook for 15 minutes on low heat with a lid.
  4. Add pumpkin purée, dates, zest, and cinnamon. Stir.
  5. Cook for another 10 minutes with a lid, stirring occasionally.
